Online learning is all about flexibility, and that extends to transfer students. Whether you’re a UA first-timer tranferring from your local community college or a current UA student moving seamlessly from on-campus to online, you have lots of options.
First, speak with your academic adviser at your current school. Advisers can provide more information and verify transfer requirements. The UA generally accepts credits from other regionally accredited colleges and universities, but the appropriate policy within the UA Academic Catalog can provide more information.
Transferring to UA Online may be right for you if:
You want to complete your degree fully online, with no hybrid or face-to-face class options.
You prefer to access advising and other student services via phone, email or online chat.
You live outside Arizona and want to pay the same price per unit as in-state students.
You’re an Arizona resident but expect to take fewer than 7 units per semester and would like to benefit from the flexibility of a per unit rate.
For additional options, look into UA South, which also offers certain programs fully online.
