Now Offering Reduced Tuition at $250 per unit

As an active duty U.S. service member in the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, or serving in the National Guard or Reserves, you may be eligible for Tuition Assistance (TA) from the Department of Defense for up to $250 a credit for bachelor’s degree programs. And at University of Arizona Online, we’ll honor your approved TA rate in any undergraduate degree.  Just gain admission into one of our bachelor’s programs and your tuition is covered by TA.*

To qualify for TA:

Speak with your local Military Branch Education Center to ensure your eligibility for TA.

Follow their instructions to request TA for your branch of service. You may also review guidance on Military Tuition Assistance. Click on specific branches for time frames and details.

The UA Tuition Assistance Office will then notify you that your TA request has been processed and applied to your account.

GI Bill

The Armed Forces offer soldiers, sailors, marines, guardsmen, and airmen several tuition assistance programs for college courses taken during off-duty hours. The Post-9/11 GI Bill® has a few specific components unavailable in other GI Bill® programs, such as the Yellow Ribbon Program and Transfer of Entitlement Option.
