Non-Degree Seeking

Whether you need to complete prerequisites or want to expand your knowledge on a specific topic, the UA offers a growing number of courses at the undergraduate or graduate level for non-degree seeking students – completely online.

Cost and Eligibility

For undergraduate students in non-degree seeking status, the per-unit cost for courses is $500.

Students in graduate courses from the following disciplines will be charged $1,250 per unit for all courses taken while in non-degree seeking status:

  • Business
  • Engineering
  • Mining
  • Science
  • Nurse Anesthesia

Students in graduate non-degree seeking status who do not register for any of the disciplines listed above will be charged $820 per unit.

Financial Aid

The UA cannot administer financial aid to non-degree seeking graduate or undergraduate students. Federal regulations require enrollment in an eligible academic program for the purpose of obtaining a degree in order to qualify for federal aid. Learn more about federal aid requirements.
